Maria.....you have a point - but I guess we're comin' down so hard on the French 'cause they not only refused to help, but they had a guy globe trottin' goin' to "undecided" countries trying to get them to vote against us. Russians and/or Germans might have only abstained from the vote - but the French promised to veto it. Oh well - they just showed their ass in a big way......and it didn't make any difference anyway....hehehe!
CB - no need to be ashamed of the French in ya - it's the French government that's bein' the butthole here. Doesn't make the French people bad.

What I can't believe is that we're considering including some aid (though much less than that "package" we were gonna give 'em to let our troops unload there) to Turkey in this budget thingy they're about to pass! Yeah, they let us use a couple of air space corridors over Turkey to fly through, but they caused us a big pain in the ass by not letting our troops unload there! Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a war monger by any stretch, but it seems like those countries that refused to help in this war effort are awfully self-absorbed! If it were for no other reason - dogs shouldn't have to live the way those poor people in Iraq live, and have lived for at least the past 30 years! This should have been done a long time ago, but since it wasn't - by damn NOW is better than never.
I just hate it that the coalition guys and gals are havin' to give their blood and lives just to do what's right.

HE LIVES IN BOULDER WHICH IS ABOUT A 1/2 HOUR FROM HERE. HE SAID IT WAS NICE TO HEAR FOLKS BACK HOME CARE ABOUT THEM. TRY AND WRITE TO ONE, THEY REALLY APPRECIATE IT! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Oh how cool!! I have a list of soldiers names and I am going to write to one soon. Just been so busy here lately that I haven't had time but I definitely plan on it. Going to send a care package too.
